goodo March 9, 2010 A. Williams overall item quality good works well and i dropped it the other day still works fine lol arrived quickly and ideal for improving grip and strentgh in the arms
It was great while it lasted March 7, 2010 Helder M. Capelo (Montouro, Portugal) It was awesome while it worked but after a month of use something broke inside and it stop working. But I'm still rating it 4 stars not only because I had a lot of fun using it but because Amazon immediately promised to sent me a new one free of charge and I don't even need to return the broken one.
The product is fantastic but I hope the new one lasts longer.
100% satisfied February 28, 2010 Jonathan Mcgovern Wow, what a product. Fun to use and very effective too. I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and have already seen a significant increase in the size of my forearms. A great addition to bicep/tricep weight routines too. All in all, a great buy.
This product is a MUST if you have bad wrists, or want to strengthen them! February 26, 2010 JapanMan (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this for my Birthday and at first I thought it was a joke, but that backfired rather fast as it's done wonders not only for me but my friends also!
Note that when you get it, you will either know how to spin it right off the bat, or you will struggle for while, but don't let that get you down as out of 5 of my friends only two actually got it the first time, and the others after a bit of practice got the hang of it.
Since using the powerball I have noticed my wrists not only feel better but have gotten stronger.
As I am in a bowling league, hooking the ball takes some strain on your wrists when your bowling a lot, but since using the powerball I have 0% strain from bowling, and I can get not only more speed down the lane, but I can get more hook also!
You can either use the powerball slowly, or you can give it a proper wiz, which strengthens your wrist and does a workout on your arm!
Not only that, but the powerball is actually fun to use!
I would recommend going for the Neon series as you get the light when you spin it makes it look cool.
Brilliant procrastination aide! February 22, 2010 T. Hobohm (York, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
FOR
Getting good at the Powerball is easy, and it was only a few days before I learned to get it spinning up to speed without needing to use the supplied rope. In use, the Powerball does feel physically taxing after a few minutes, though I'm not sure how much value it actually has as an exercise tool. The product is a very pleasing size and shape, and is perfect for spinning away with in front of the television. The kinetic lighting system works very well, and has a slightly mesmerising effect in dark rooms...
AGAINST
Probably not that useful for muscle building, so if you're buying it for that, then avoid. As an office procrastination tool, however, it's fantastic to spin with whilst thinking of a sensible reply to that tricky email from the boss. It might be just mine, but the ball starts to feel a little wobbly after a few weeks. Not a major issue, as the product is covered by a lifetime guarantee and this problem doesn't affect the product's use.
VERDICT
Awesome stressbuster, but must be considered exactly that- not an exercise tool. Buy.
