I Need To Know Some Artists From The 1920’s. (art Deco) Can Someone Help Me Find Some?
Here are some for you: Maxfield Parrish, N. C. Wyeth, Charles Russel, to name just a paltry few. Parrish is my personal favorite, as he used elegant and striking images of females set before stunning landscapes and cityscapes. You can look up Art Deco Illustrators as a general search term, or via the artists I just listed. You might want to check out Art Deco Designs, Art Deco Posters, Art Deco Sculptures as additional searches. Good luck with your search. Art Deco was a great period of art, and was oddly around when America's economy was not at the greatest. Art Deco celebrated form, streamlining, function, elegance, and material admiration. The buildings from this era are great, as are the many statues, advertisements, etc. Even matchbooks were elegant in design!
