I have an old imac g3 computer: 350MHz (slot loading) running the earliest version of os X. Not sure how much RAM, though I know it has no less than 64MB. I also have a linksys wireless-g router.
My main question is: Should I buy an Airport card (with adapter, of course) or one of those USB wireless cards???
With the Airport Card…
Do I need to install any software with it?
Will it connect through the linksys router or do I need a Base Station?
With the USB Wireless card…
Will I need to update my operating system (I looked at some that said a min. of OS X 10.3)?
In general…
How well does the internet even run on these old computers???
Are there ways to improve speed etc…???

I had over 2000 songs on my ipod, and then my computer crashed, so I lost everything! Now I can’t add anymore more music to my ipod because it will delete all the other songs when I sync it. I’ve been trying to find a program that transfers my music, playlists, playcounts, etc. back onto my computer from my ipod. Any suggestions?

I need a reliable and preferably economical way to get my 24″ imac from the uk to australia. It’s too big to take as hand luggage on the plane with me.
Selling it and buying another is not something I want to do if I can avoid it.
I’m worried that it’ll get damaged however I send it……
