I need to backup all my music, but all my old music that’s currently on my iPod is in my dead old computer. Help?

I had to reboot my computer, which means I had to download iTunes again, erasing my library. It says I can sync my iPod with the new empty library, which erases all my songs on my iPod or I could transfer purchased items, which only transfers the things i bought from iTunes and that isn’t even half my songs. So how can I transfer all my songs from my iPod to the new iTunes library without losing my songs? Thank you so much!

I recently transferred all my iPod songs to an external (flash) drive. I’ve bought some new mp3s and I want to put those on my iPod, but I don’t want my entire library to be copied on my iPod (mainly because all the songs on my iPod are now on my flash drive, not my computer). Can anyone help?

My computer recently got reimaged for work-related purposes and my itunes library was erased. I figured I could use my ipod to store my music and then just plug it in and it would come back on my computer. I tried and it says my music can only be synced with one computer. Can I put my music back into a new itunes library without having access to my old library?

I recently got a new computer so i downloaded itunes. I plugged in my ipod mini, but none of the songs showed in the library. Most of them had been downloaded off limewire, how do i delete them and just start over as if it was a new ipod mini with nothing on it?

The computer with my itunes library on it crashed about a year ago, and i lost my hard drive, with my itunes on it. My sister and i have similar musical taste, so i don’t mind if all of her music syncs onto my ipod. It will let me do this, but not without deleting all of the music already on my ipod. Is there anyway to gain all of her music, without deleting mine?

On the family computer, my iPod is sync with my dad’s account, but now I want it to be synced on mine. All of the songs that I want to move are pretty much are on my iPod (1st generation shuffle), but I can’t seem to get them into the new library on my account. Any help?
I don’t care if I unsync it with the other account(my dad’s); I just want the music in the new library.
