Since iTunes store tops the music retailer in the world, the following tutorial focuses on how to convert purchased iTunes M4P music to MP3, WAV or unprotected WMA so as to import it to Windows Movie Maker project as background music. The tutorial is composed of the following three parts:

Part 1. Something about Windows Movie Maker

Part 2. Remove DRM from iTunes M4P music

The songs you purchased from iTunes store are under DRM protection. You cannot directly import them to your Windows Movie Maker project. However you can burn the protected music files to CD-R or CD-RW disc to make an audio CD and then use some CD ripper software to convert the audio CD track back to MP3, WAV, WMA, etc. And iTunes allows you to burn the protected music files to CD-R or CD-RW disc to make a standard audio CD:

Part 3. Add the output DRM-free music to Windows Movie Maker

Click on File. Then click on Import. A window will appear. In the window, navigate to the sound or music file you want to add to your movie. Then double click on the file. i have converted videos to itunes…and was wondering how to put them onto windows movie maker

I’m trying to import my iTunes songs into Windows Movie Maker and it keeps saying that the file is not supported. How do I change the iTunes files into something that Windows Movie Maker will support? I have iTunes 8, the newest version, just for the record.

Hey, I’m working on an amv and can’t figure out how to add my iTunes music to Movie Maker. I tried playing the song while movie makers “narrate” option was on, the quality was terrible can someone help?

How do you get itunes music on a powerpoint presentation and a windows movie maker. I know you have to like convert the itunes to mp3 or whatever, but I don’t know how to do that because when I right click a song that isn’t an option.
Please if someone could help it would be really nice because I have been trying to do this for months and don’t know how.
